Statement by Abigail Moyo, spokesperson of the trade union UASA:
UASA is proud to announce the appointment of Poena Siemens as an Operational Manager (Minerals Division) at UASA service center in Thabazimbi.
Poena has over 30 years of work experience in the mining industry, where he successfully advanced his career through reputable roles and organizations, including Anglo-American. Poena has sufficient knowledge in labour relations and organized labour member practices such as collective bargaining, section 189 and 197 processes.
UASA is pleased to welcome Poena on board and wishes him well with his appointment.
