UASA CEO Jacques Hugo (Left) bidding farewell to Adv. Nick van Rooyen (Right) at an intimate farewell party held at UASA Head Office in Florida.
Statement by Abigail Moyo, spokesperson of the trade union UASA:
The UASA team wishes Advocate Nick van Rooyen, our Divisional Manager (Legal), all the best on his well-deserved retirement.
Over the years, Adv. Nick has made significant and notable contributions to UASA’s legal division and growth. He retires after 19 years’ of dedicated service to the organization.
Adv. Nick also served on several external bodies, including the South African Diamond and Precious Metals Regulator (SADPMR) Board, Human Resources Sub Committee, FEDUSA NEC and MANCO, and the NEDLAC Labour Reform Task Team.
UASA CEO, Mr. Jacques Hugo, thanked Adv. Nick for his hard work and dedication to the organization. Most of all, he wished him good health and luck in his future endeavours.
The UASA team will miss you dearly. Farewell Adv. Nick.
