Statement by Abigail Moyo, spokesperson of the trade union UASA:
The UASA legal team is attending the South African Society for Labour Law (SASLAW) 29th Annual National Conference held at The Forum, The Campus in Bryanston, Johannesburg.
The conference led by leading labour law experts, legal practitioners and industry stakeholders explores important conversations on the future of labour in South Africa.
Through informed presentations and practical discussions, delegates will learn about emerging trends, challenges and developments that continue to influence labour relations and workers’ rights.
UASA’s participation in the conference is valuable to our legal department that plays a significant role in protecting the interests of our members and workers in the workplace.
As workplaces evolve and trends emerge, the insights and expertise shared by labour law experts at the conference will enhance our legal team’s ability to advise members effectively and address legal challenges more proactively.
