Statement by Abigail Moyo, spokesperson of the trade union UASA:
UASA welcomes the appointment of its newly elected Full Time Health and Safety Union Representative (FTHSUR) at Khuseleka Mine, Albert Mthombeni.
Albert is an accomplished individual with over three decades of work experience, starting his career in 1990. His dedication and hard work in the industry have and continue to afford him great opportunities for growth and development.
Albert has been a member of UASA since 2005 and has played a significant role in UASA’s growth in the mining sector and labour practices. His knowledge and skills make him a valuable asset to the UASA team.
UASA congratulates Albert on his appointment. We wish him the best in this new position.
