Statement by Abigail Moyo, spokesperson of the trade union UASA:
UASA is pleased to announce the appointment of Machume Rikhotso and Nicoleene Mapheelle.
Machume is appointed as an Operational Manager at UASA Head Office, while Nicoleene is appointed as an Assistant Operational Manager at the UASA Service Centre in Cape Town.
Machume and Nicoleene have valuable experience, knowledge and skills in labour practices. They possess a strong understanding of collective bargaining and members’ interests in the workplace.
We congratulate Machume and Nicoleene on their appointments and wish them success in their respective roles in strengthening UASA membership and operations.
