Statement by Abigail Moyo, spokesperson of the trade union UASA:
UASA is proud to announce the appointment of Reno Van Wyk as an Operational Manager (Minerals Division) in the Northern Cape region.
With over 23 years of work experience, Reno possesses valuable knowledge and skills in labour union practices. He previously served in the Diamond sector in various capacities, including Shop Steward, Branch Leader, Full-Time Union Representative (FTUR) and Regional Chairperson.
Reno has acquired experience in handling and representing workers in workplace matters, including the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA) and the Labour Court.
UASA is pleased to welcome Reno to the team. We wish him all the best with his appointment.
