Statement by Abigail Moyo, spokesperson of the trade union UASA:
The UASA team extends its warmest wishes to Gerhard Ueckermann, our Divisional Manager (Specialist Division), as he begins his well-earned retirement.
Over an extraordinary 45 years of dedicated service, Gerhard has made invaluable contributions to the growth and success of UASA’s specialist division. His commitment, expertise, and leadership have played a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s operations and legacy.
Throughout his career, Gerhard also served on the UASA National Executive Committee (NEC) and the Service Seta Communication Board, where his contributions to the labour sphere further strengthened UASA’s influence and impact.
UASA CEO, Mr. Jacques Hugo, expressed heartfelt gratitude for Gerhard’s unwavering dedication and hard work. On behalf of the entire UASA family, he wished him good health, happiness, and fulfilment in this new chapter of his life.
Gerhard, your wisdom, leadership, and camaraderie will be deeply missed. Farewell and best wishes as you embark on this exciting new journey.
