The UASA team wishes Mr. Franz Stehring and Ms. Annatjie Van Der Veer all the best on their well-deserved retirement.

For the past years, Mr. Stehring has been part of UASA in the Minerals Division, starting his career in August 1995. Having made numerous contributions to the growth and

sustainability of UASA and the mining sector, Mr. Stehring retires, serving as the Divisional Manager of the Minerals Division.

Mr. Stehring also served on several boards outside UASA, including Sentinel Pension fund, Mine Qualification Authority (MQA), Mine Health and Safety, Fedusa – Steering Committee – Sector

Masterplan, Tshiamiso Trust Advisory Committee, and the Mine Rescue Services.

While Ms. Van Der Veer has been working for UASA for 26 years and retires as a Personal Assistant to Divisional Managers, starting her career in 1997. Through hard work and

dedication, she transferred positions in the role of Administrator until 2008, when she was officially appointed to the offices of as a Personal Assistant.

During an intimate farewell gathering held at UASA Head Office, UASA Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr. Jacques Hugo, thanked Mr. Stehring and Ms. Van Der Veer for their hard

work and devotion to the organization and wished them the best of luck.
