Statement by Abigail Moyo, spokesperson of the trade union UASA:
UASA is pleased to announce the appointment of Amor Tredoux as the Arts and Entertainment Sector Representative.
We believe Amor, with her wealth of experience and institutional knowledge, will ensure the smooth running of operations and assist UASA members in the Arts and Entertainment sector whilst simultaneously growing the ranks of our member cadre.
UASA’s Arts and Entertainment sector was launched to broaden our horizons by offering membership benefits, to improve legal assistance to all Professionals in the Arts and Entertainment Industry in the event of contractual disputes.
The Arts and Entertainment is a vulnerable sector in our economy and UASA is proud to be actively involved in the industry.
We wish Amor well with her appointment to this crucial position.
