UASA is deeply saddened by the continued attacks on Golden Arrow busses and subsequently our members and other workers in Cape Town.
Busses carry workers who at this very important juncture in our history are key to ensuring we can salvage what is left of our economy.
UASA members and other workers employed by Golden Arrow have families to take care of, attacking and burning busses not only affects the company, but also prevents our members and workers that they ferry to and from work from earning an income and putting food on the table.
UASA supports calls by Golden Arrow bus company for a SAPS tasks force that was once tasked with protecting these buses, to again intervene and provide security services.
Protecting these busses means protecting our members, workers and the economy.
